TIME OUT is for Primary age children and takes place on the first Saturday of each month from 10.30-12.30 in the Church Hall
TIME OUT began in September 2010 and follows the Godly Play Programme. At the start of each session, we all sit in a circle (leaders and children) and sing our welcome song. This is followed by the singing of three songs which will be sung the next day at our Family Service. The children also play percussion instruments on both occasions.
One leader then tells the children a bible story which is also depicted by visual aids, and the children are encouraged to interact. A game always follows. Next, the children have a snack (the feast), after which they become involved in some actitivies (such as art / craft) relating to the bible story. We then come back into our circle, sing our hymns again and finish with our closing prayer.
