St. Andrew’s Church Choirs
The Senior and Junior Choirs have enjoyed a very successful and busy programme of  services over the Christmas season. We are always keen to welcome new adult members singers in all voices. The Choirs practise on Thursdays evenings and the Choirs now take part weekly in the Sunday worship at 10.00am. Those who are able to play instruments are also encouraged to use these talents. Junior Choir
The Junior Choir urgently needs new members! It provides an opportunity for youngsters, both boys and girls, to receive first-rate voice training, learn choral skills and to enhance their general musicianship – all at no charge! Countless people who have carried music-making into their adult lives have cause to be grateful for what they learnt as youngsters in a church choir. Children aged 8 and over are eligible for membership. The Director of Music will be very pleased to hear from prospective choristers and/or their parents.
St. Andrew’s Church is affiliated to the Royal School of Church Music, and uses the RSCM “Voices for Life” awards programme.
